Powell Butte, Portland Oregon

I was tasked with painting the Portland water district watershed (where Portland’s water comes from in a grand gravity-fed design). This was painted as if the viewer were 12,000′ above the ground and directly over downtown. It looks out east to the Cascades and Mt Hood. This painting was then scanned and printed on 3’x2′ HDL panels and mounted on the wall in overlapping sequence. The rectangle area at the bottom is where an exhibit counter went. Powell Butte Visitor Center, east Portland. Completed at the end of 2012, installation in 2013
